Jalapeno Poppers

I made these tonight, and they are so dadgum yummy! A few go a long way, but it is one food that if you tend to binge, either don't make as many, or hold off! Just consider that a warning! YUM!

Sizzlin Jalapeno Poppers
Ingredients
1 dozen fresh jalapenos
1 8oz package of Philly Cream Cheese (Room temp)
1 package precooked bacon chopped (or 1/2 a pound of bacon cooked and crumbled)
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper

Directions
In a small bowl combine cream cheese, bacon, salt, and pepper. Set aside. Slice each jalepano in half from top to bottom. Scoop out all seeds, and white innards. :) (If you have them, you may want to use gloves). Once peppers are prepped, fill with cream cheese mixture. Bake on a foil lined (easy clean up) cookie sheet @ 400* for about 35 minutes or so ( just check that they are tender). These are great for sport gatherings, get togethers, or just for a fun addition to a chicken dinner! (Winner winner chicken dinner!)

*Also, don't forget I am going to answer ANY question you may have! Don't be shy!!*

Small note ~ these make a great pair with bacon and eggs! YUM! (even cold)

  1. Coming from someone that is doing low-cal not low-carb this recipe post was just plain mean! :p

I love poppers and have made them on many occasions for my family. My father had even dabled in making them with some of the various flavored cream cheese's they sell now. My brother prefers maple cured bacon...mmmm, ok, enough about poppers and cream cheese and bacon...I'm getting hungry! :)

(can you see that we are serious popper fans and just why I may be as large as I am?!)
