A new thing

This morning I feel this desire to "do something new" with my life. Lo and behold, I find this scripture!

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.Isaiah 43:19 NIV

A promise of sorts. A promise from God that this desire to do something "new" is indeed something springing up deep from within that was put there from Him! Of course I want to ask "What in the world is it?", and obviously I want to know now! But we know His ways are not our ways ~ and in the same line of thinking, his timing is not our timing either. :)

Sometimes parts of our life feel like we are in a desert, parched wanting for more. Not in a greedy way but in a desperate need. God has given us each so many talents ~ yet how often are we open to utilize those talents?
