Double Apple Crisp

Tempt My Tummy Tuesday ~ Autumn Edition

It's that time of the year! Cooler temps outside, lots of apples in harvest, and gatherings that bring more people around your dinner table. Have I got a recipe that is not only delish at night for dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream but is amazing heated up for breakfast!

Double Apple Crisp

Ingredients
Apple Pie Filling (I used a container of homemade)
1 cup All Purpose Flour
1 cup Oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp Cinnamon (or apple pie spice)
6 TBS butter melted

Directions
Spray a 13x9 baking dish with non cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350*. In a bowl mix the last seven ingredients together until well blended. Divide in 1/2 and spread the first half on the bottom of dish. Next spread apple pie filling. (This would also be amazing with peaches, cranberry sauce, cherry pie filling.) Top with remaining 1/2 of crust mixture. Bake in oven for about 30 to 35 minutes.

I took the left overs to work and it was gone in minutes. Definitely a crowd pleaser!
