Are you living your life with a course of action that you intend to follow? Do you have an aim that will guide action into your life ~ a goal? Do you have honorable intentions? Is your life like a medicine that is going to heal the wounds of your heart, of your life?
Wow. We use these words without knowing their true meaning, and then blow them off instead of correcting our actions to meet those intentions of the heart, of the mind, of the soul. I have seen many crime stories on TV by watching (Snapped) on a lazy Saturday and have seen where there are people who may not be tried as a murderer, but will be tried by a jury for the INTENT of murder.
Being intent on something is a matter of the heart. It is something that is pondered, and just doesn't happen by accident. It doesn't just occur as we live our day to day existence, but rather it is pre meditated, and we have to intentionally set our minds and hearts on living our lives that are full of either HIS good works, and kindness or OUR OWN works, which could lead to disaster. Are we intending to be joyful, or do we just wait around for joy to come? Do we intend to be "healthy" or do we allow God to heal us (mentally, emotionally, spiritually) and then we set our intention on allowing health to just become who we are?
There is something about living life with a purpose. We live it intently. So, today my challenge to you is to figure out the "intention of your heart" and if your really living it out with INTENTION or if your just going by the motions. I was encouraged this morning to be more intent in my marriage, but really shouldnt' our WHOLE life be full of intention? So, make you a list of ways that you may be living with intention but not action, and then begin to pray on that and see where God will lead you to change your heart for HIM and HIS purpose for you!
