I am so sick of it!

I am sick of the Josh Duggar of the world and the Sam Radar who spend countless hours sharing their testimony in their faith, and are very open yet ... hide skeletons in their closets then go into hiding when they are exposed. They stutter and stammer and find excuses and like to even thrown down the red carpet of 'It's in my past. It shouldn't matter."

YES it is in your past but let me say something. God gave you an open forum to SHARE the truth and how your faith saw you through it. Instead you get "called out" by the Ashley Madison hackers and then want to go hide in shame.

I believe that God is Sovereign, and that even the stupid mistakes we make (even the most ignorant of choices) are used to bring GOD the glory  ~ not for ours, nor for our shame. See.. if you two would have come out ON YOUR OWN and had been honest AHEAD of the scandal you might have been a light for a very dark world who doesn't understand what monogamy is, nor what redemption is. You wanted money, you wanted fame, you wanted to look good to the world so you could continue to preach the word. But now.. you have not only tarnished your own testimony, you have made people (non believers and believers alike) question the morals of other believers. You have made a mockery of a monogamous relationship because now women everywhere have begun to question their own husband's integrity. I haven't been in that place where I need to question my husband's but I have been in many conversations with women who are now worried about their husband's faithfulness and ability to hide an affair.

YES we hold you to a higher standard and as Christians we should be expecting people to hold us at a higher standard. If not then we are not following God's ideal for us. In his word he says to be in the world (that means among believers and non believers a like) but not of the world ( that means NOT acting like those who do not believe). 15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.17 Sanctify them by[a] the truth; your word is truth. John 17: 15-17

STOP hiding behind the lies (even if they are lies of the past)! Be honest, let God use you in your darkness ~ there are many lives that can be touched by being REAL and genuine!
