The word though that I want to share is ugly and detrimental to thriving in this life. It is stifling, enough to encourage emotional bankruptcy, and can ruin even the best of relationships. Are you sure you are ready?

2. The act of suggesting that two or more things are similar.
Comparisons take energy, time, and focus. Comparisons rob you of knowing who you are, and what you stand for. If you are stuck in the act of comparison you are also stuck in the act of compromise. Comparison and compromise go hand in hand as well as peanut butter and jelly.

I spent many years comparing my life to others and do you want to know something? I never lived up to them. I had to compromise something to even come close. If I thought they were such a saint, I had to compromise my belief that God made me unique and amazing and He wants me to share that.

I LOVE that now I stopped that lie of comparison in my life I am able to begin really reaching and achieving my dream! And not only that my future seems to be opening up before me!
