Thursday's Thoughts & Reviews: Orla Kiely keeps my organizer organized!

I am loving sharing with you on Thursdays about products that I have tried and found review worthy. This morning I wanted to share how I keep my organizer organized! I know .... that makes me laugh too because really I am the organizer but I use a "life planner" from Erin Condren so I really take care with it because in so many ways this life planner will be something that my family can look back on for years to come and know what we were doing back on a particular season in our life or where our focus as a family was. That is one reason I think I started including a "gratitude" section on each day!

Anyway.... I am going to share with you a product from Orla Kiely. I began to hear of this designer about a year and a half ago and well, I love accessories. Especially fun and playful prints. I don't have to have the best of the best, and really I found this bag at Target so we know it is not necessarily the top of the line yet easy to find. Prints change with season and I don't know if you can find this same print but the type of bag should still be available.

Here is what it looks like. The print is called Shadow Flower.

It's a bit busy, but so is my life! ~Insert Smile~ I like the black and white with tiny green dot because it is a clean and classic print. It will be fine for as long as I want to use it.

When I unzip it, this is what it looks like on the inside.

Here on the left side is a mesh portion of the bag. I keep my Erin Condren Life planner in this side along with a few current favorite stick pads and a white out tape. The life planner measures around 7x9 and is a good inch or so think on the paper side and I would say and inch and half on the coil side. There is PLENTY of room as my planner expands to still house it comfortably.

In the center is a great little pouch that holds all my Sharpie pens (which I use on my planner pages) and a few fine point markers (that I use on the washi tape and sticky notes). I have a pretty good collection and it's nice to always have them when I have my planner with me.

On the back of the pen holder pouch (that is what I use it for so that is what I call it) is a small zip pouch. I use it to hold post it flags, small sticky notes, regular size plain sticky notes, etc.

On the right ..... is where I put my Erin Condren on the go notebook. It also is 7x9 and the cover matches my planner cover. I also have a few stickers stuck in there (which I don't always have) that I use to make certain notations in my planner. The On The Go Notebook is amazing, and I am contemplating what I am using it for. I am trying to decide if I want to use it for my 5 year plan, or business contacts and planning information, or just for notes for all of my writing. It is clear plastic, and zips closed as you can see.

This goes with me to work every single day, and is usually set out on my desk as soon as I get home. I do not go too far without it. Just like our skull holds our brains in place nicely and orderly, this organizer does the same for my planner (or second brain as I often like to call it).

If this kind of organizer is your cup of tea, check out the beauty section of Target. I found this with all the makeup cases, and if I am not mistaking I believe it is a bathroom traveling case ` often used to hold shampoo, toothpaste, makeup, etc for travel. I like how I am using it though!
