Sweet Word Sunday: Do you know how to tango?

On Wednesday I posted the following post onto the Facebook page for this blog without knowing what was ahead.

"How do you know when it's time to step back? How do you know when your focus is not what it should be? Coming up on the blog, I hope to share my story of the ups and downs and how I always know when it's time to re-evaluate how I am spending my time. It's always crystal clear afterwards."

I call this feeling of needing to take a step back and do a dance of a tango.

So, as you can see it is the perfect description of how we handle many of life's situations that are around us all of the time. I LOVE specifically the part about how during the tango it has some long pauses. Sometimes as we are going through the day to day we often forget to the importance of long pauses (breaks). I don't know about you but it is in those long pauses that I find rejuvenation, redirection, and sometimes even confirmation. If I didn't take those breaks, not only am I ruining the dance, but the person I am dancing with (whether it be my spouse, boss, coworkers, friends) is also thrown off the right path. 

It takes time to learn a dance, and the beautiful stylized body positions that are often shown throughout the tango. Just as in life, it takes time ..... to be able to see and learn the various body positions that we too need to display. 

The tango is exciting, passionate just as life should be. I am in one of those long pauses ~ and learning that I need redirection, rejuvenation, and confirmation on when I am to take the next step. Right now.. in that pause, I am embracing that I am NOTHING without God! I can do nothing without his lead. I am only a grain of sand searching for my purpose. And life is nothing more than a dance.
